Butterfly Meltzer

I am a Freshman at the University of Akron. I started selling hand-made jewelry in January of 2018. I always loved the Native American culture, and this past summer, I was inducted into the Northern Cheyenne tribe as an honorary member. I am proud to call the native peoples my extended family.

What inspired you to make this project?
I am alive today because of the Northern Cheyenne people praying for me when I was mentally unhealthy. They kept me going when I wanted to die and taught me their culture so that I could see how beautiful life can be. I am now healthy and am in a great debt to the Native peoples. My business is how I will repay my debt.
