The Haunted Housewives

Cathi Weber, known as “The Ghost Lady”, is a wife, a mother and a grandmother. She is an experienced educator and lecturer, offering popular workshops and presentations of a haunted nature that have been enjoyed by thousands through local libraries, fraternal organizations, colleges, historical sites and community education programs. She has led various classes for adults and children geared towards the paranormal. Cathi is a sought after speaker that brings energy and knowledge, as well as a strong dose of humor, to further people's understanding of the paranormal and their enjoyment of all things ghostly. Cathi considers herself a "para-historian" with a goal to bring historically significant buildings to the attention of the public by highlighting the reported paranormal activity, along with stories, legends or lore attached to the property. In an effort to remind everyone that the responsibility for the preservation of these historic treasures is in our hands, she regularly organizes public para-historical ghost hunting fundraisers for local organizations, which are always sold-out events. She is the co-founder, along with the original Haunted Housewife, Theresa Argie, of the Haunted Housewives – a group of two creative and talented paranormal researchers, lecturers and authors from the east suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Cathi has appeared on a variety of television shows including Paranormal State (November 2010), The Marriage Ref (February 2011), Paranormal Challenge (July 2011), My Ghost Story (July 2012), and Haunted Collector (April 2013). She has been featured on local and national radio programs, internet radio, local and national news outlets, and local entertainment programs and newspapers. Cathi’s first book, "Haunted Willoughby, Ohio" (The History Press, 2010) showcases her creative storytelling talents, and love of the rich history and heritage of the town of Willoughby, Ohio. Her intimate knowledge of all its haunts was taken from the very popular Willoughby Ghost Walk, a walking tour through the haunted historic district of downtown Willoughby, created by Cathi over a decade ago. Her second book "Love Beyond the Grave; True Tales of Haunted Haunts", co-authored with fellow Haunted Housewife, Theresa Argie, is now available.

When Theresa Argie isn’t busy being a mom, and a wife, she takes on her alter ego, the Haunted Housewife, a name that has been associated with Theresa and the paranormal for nearly a decade. After being involved in paranormal research for quite some time, Theresa saw the opportunity to express her ghostly viewpoints more fully and decided to take things to a new level. She is an experienced lecturer, educator and researcher with many years dealing with ghosts, spirits and paranormal activity. Theresa has worked with some of the most well respected names in the paranormal realm. She has had the opportunity to be featured on countless media outlets and continues to be featured regularly on radio, cable, network and local television shows and programs, newspapers, magazines and conference appearances. Some of her most noteworthy appearances are Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, on which she has been interviewed several times. She is the co-founder, along with the Ghost Lady, Cathi Weber, of the Haunted Housewives – a pair of two creative and talented paranormal researchers, lecturers and authors from the east suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Theresa released her first book in September 2014 entitled America's Most Haunted: The Secrets of Famous Paranormal Places (Penguin Press/Berkley Publishing, 2014.) It is a collection of the top most historically relevant haunted locations in the United States. Detailed history, first-hand accounts, and the most profound paranormal adventures of the Haunted Housewives are chronicled in this myth-busting, thoroughly researched book.
