While living in Portland, Cleveland native, Jara Anton started making celebrity prayer candles for Christmas parties and loved ones. Upon the urging of a friend, she started a shop on Etsy. A few years later, Anton moved back to Cleveland to be back with "her people." Rustbelt Cooperative candles are available at Salty not Sweet and a limited collection at Lakewood Plant Company.
